Engaging Programs For Active Minds and Vibrant Bodies
The Bluegrass Assisted Living Community provides our residents the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities and programs that encourage interactive and educational opportunities. Our programs serve as a forum for our residents to enjoy activities ranging from educational services to social events to conversations with family, friends, and neighbors.
We encourage our residents to be as active as possible, so we offer different activities to tailor to their individual needs.
Lectures. These include topics on Alzheimer's Care Enrichment, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, and Nutrition/Diet. We even have outside speakers come in to lecture to our residents. This provides an opportunity for residents to become educated and more familiar with these different issues. This can help residents understand themselves and those around them better.
Self-Help Classes. We offer Stress Management, Dental Health, and Vitamins and Minerals in the Diet. These are all essential factors in our lives to live healthily and happily, so we provide our residents with the same resources they would have access to at home. It creates a better atmosphere when every resident looks and feels their best.
Activities. Residents have the opportunity to participate in a number of activities. Some include Arts & Crafts, Dances, and Fashion Shows. We enjoy these activities as much as our residents do! It allows them to build relationships and interact with different people in the community.
Providing our residents with a variety of opportunities to live their lives to it’s fullest potential, is one of our top priorities.
